The Concept 2000 has been developed for high-clean environments where there is a greater throughput of traffic and less emphasis on the need for pressure differentials. It is based upon the industry standard Bi-parting door - the Concept developed by Wellgate Door Systems 8 years ago. As with the Hi-Clean 10,000 the control cabinet, motor and all exterior wiring are encased within the structure of the door itself. The door can be tailor designed to meet the requirements of many differing environments, it is standard fabricated out of galvanised steel that can be painted or powder coated, or in the case of a high clean area, manufactured almost totally out of stainless steel.
One of the main strengths of a bi-parting system is the speed that the aperture is fully open. Both leaves open from the centre outwards staying within the line of site of a forklift operator throughout the opening cycle. Each leaf travels at up to 2 metres a second and as a result of having only to travel half the width of the aperture to be fully open, it takes approximately half a second to be fully clear of a forklift. This makes it an inherently safe system that does not encourage careless use.
